Are there alot of people who want the new release on Vinyl? Im really hoping they do it. Vinyl making a comeback is the greatest thing since the first time i heard Offspring. I need a new record!

The album cover would look much better on a record case than a CD case.

They've had vinyl releases for all of their other albums, I'm sure Days Go By will be no different. ;)

Would there even be any advantage to listening to a modern album on vinyl over a CD, if it's all recorded digitally anyway? Seems that "warm" sound would be cancelled out anyway, right?
You hipster. :p

I love CDs and vinyl, and in a way am kind of sad that CDs are dying out--but it's awesome that vinyl is making sort of a comeback among enthusiasts.
I have Conspiracy of One and the Hit That single on vinyl.

But do they actually sound any different on a record player? Or it's just more of a collectors' mentality thing?
I can't imagine something recorded digitally would retain that same "vinyl feel" when played in the format.

not to me i think it's more of a collectors' mentality thing

Even digitally recorded albums to me sounds a bit "warmer" on vinyl.. I do feel corny playing my smash vinyl when the intro says put this compact disk in your home stereo..

Thought I'd hijack this thread rather than start a new one...
I've got Ixnay on Orange vinyl and somebody wants it off me, I was wondering if it's worth much? Not many seem to come up for sale?
ps - I haven't been on these forums for about 12 years haha.
