Of The Offspring's singles, I Choose is probably the one whose meaning is the hardest to interpret.
As I understand it, it reinforces that the idea we have free will in life and suggests that life can seem to lack direction and be hard to analyze at times.
There are some lyrics whose meaning I can't grasp at all, such as, "if I wasn't such a weenie, do you think you'd still love me? Pretending I'm an airplane of the living room floor".
What do you think the song is about?
