Of course I like metal! "Heavy Metal Is The Law"! (a Helloween song). But actually that depends on what you mean with "metal". The metal bands I like are: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Hammerfall, Helloween, Black Sabbath and Dio. And by the way, Ronnie James Dio is no doubt the best singer ever!

heh, your post is almost the the exact thing I was going to say. Liquid Tension Experiment aren't really that metal. They lean toward the fusion side.
I also like metallica, megadeth, cacophony, jason becker, racer x, paul gilbert, the new Petrucci solo album, and some Yngwie Malmsteen.
