no heres wat happened. they started to not get along and they decided that the best thing would be for him to leave. it was a mutal agreement.

on the steady ground website, on a post to band members forum ron replied to a question saying that not all was what it seemed, he wanted to be a part of something where the songs were written as a band, so i gues he wanted more input into the songs!

he did state that it was one of the hardest decisions hes ever made!

The drum-tabs for the album Splinter were already written completely by Josh Freese and its release was on the beginning of december in 2003.
So I think it's about 2 and a half years ago.

december 2003 -> december 2004-> 1 year and now we're march 2005 so it's around one year and half ...

Nope, when Greg and Dexter started the band Dexter played the drums. So the original drummer is still in the band, he just doesn't play the drums anymore.
