Thanks I also like it very much... probably because I love the original version.
Talking about German descent, my Granny was Prussian... She was born in Kornisberg (or something) which now part of Russia and I think its called Leningrad or something now, and they moved to the German side of Prussia during the war or something. So I have a lot of German cousins that I don't even know... My mum said she'd try and get the address of one of her rare German cousins who can speak some English, so that I can try and get in touch with them. Ive never liked the German language much, it sounds so strict! But I best friend is half German, half Swiss German (but born in Paris) and I have nothing against Germans! Anyway, Ive only been to Germany once, when I was really young, like 6 or 7, when my great grandmother was still alive. All I remember is that they sold a lot of decorations representing witches, and that they were crazy about garden gnomes! lol (The family name is Kaminski, and they live in Frankfurt and thereabouts, have you any Kaminski's in your family? lol) And now Im starting to think I might prefer "Keep track" to "where I live" but I really need the lyrics so that I can understand all that you're saying!
Haha, no. I don't have any Kaminskis in my family. But I saw that name at work today. I am always amused by how other people find german sounding rough or something since it's perfectly natural to me. But I see where you're coming from. After all, I think it's cool to have relatives from different countries and be able to get to know more than one language, culture and view of the world. From what I know, my relatives are 100% german so I guess I'm trying to compensate that on here
So today was a pretty shitty day... the gig tomorrow got cancelled due to the weather (it would have been an outside concert) and things are not going too well. Maybe we'll get to play one or two bigger gigs in May, though.
