Alright, let me summarize. Please correct me if I understood anything wrong: 1. Intro, Ending and Intermission songs (Offspring songs/live performances and AotM songs) 2. "Leaders" who take over the first report of what happened in each section (changing with every podcast) 3. No negative talk about any member in the podcast 4. Commenting allowed for everyone 5. Guests in the next episodes 6. ??????????? 7. PROFIT!
Oh yeah, anyone who has any new ideas is welcomed to post them here. Also, please post your time schedule here so we can find a time that works for everyone.
We're trying to set up a test conversation and the recording of the first podcast this weekend. Please post if this could work for you (or not).
I can't do it Friday or Saturday, as I have a film project to work on for University. But, I'll probably be able to to it anytime after 7pm Central Time on Sunday, assuming everything goes according to plan. Also, I'm totally available on Mondays.
My schedule: From Monday to Friday, I'm only available from about 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm CAT. For CET ... that would be an hour earlier, therefore 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. As for the weekends, I can manage my time more freely and can be available with enough notice, however late afternoon, early evening would suit me fine but this Saturday will be a problem. It was great talking to you guys last night David included and getting the general feel of how things are going to work. I was just wondering what the length of each podcast would be. I was thinking not to long because people will get bored and not to short either ... where would the happy middle ground be?
What about 4-5 Minutes of talk and 2-3 songs?
About the time: I would be able to wake up at 4-5 am on saturday/sunday, but I'm pretty sure the other people from my time zone wouldn't want to do this What about recording the test conversation next monday? Like, 19:00 german time, 20:00 south african time, 15:00 brazilian time and 12:00 canadian time? Would that be doable?
Would that be 4-5 minutes talk between the 2-3 songs or 4-5 minutes in total. I think the last option is a bit short. Adrian, you are very brave and completely right. I love my sleep to much, so there is no way that I'm getting up that early, especially considering it is a weekend As for the test conversation, that time is doable for me.
Next monday at 15:00 Brazilian time would be great for me!
oh, I actually meant recording the podcast next monday. If we don't manage to set up a test conversation we could just have a test conversation and record the podcast right after that, right? Also, yeah. 4-5 minutes of talk in total would not be enough, so I guess about 4-5 minutes between the songs. One last thing: Is anyone able to record it yet?
