No on DaRosa. It was just John Nolan and whoever their drummer is. I think this was June 2007. PW was late May 08. Ill bet you Rancid will show up there in August... 5 nights at Irving. Would really love for the Offspring to play Irving, if they ever stop playing festivals.
I'm guessing they'll play Hammerstein or Roseland next time through. But Irving is definitely easier to get to and less of a clusterfuck, so I guess we'll see.
i saw them at Hammerstein in 04. it was miserable. the people that work there are all super douchetastic. saw them at Roseland for CO1. definitely a better environment. Irving would be awesome though. Or even the Nokia theatre.

there was a show in '01 which i think was roseland, and it was terrible. nobody could hear anything. i remember the hammerstein show, it was OK. Nokia wouldnt be a bad option. as long as they don't play the crazy donkey in farmingdale.
'01? or the verrrry end of '00? I remember seeing them in December 2000 at Roseland. Wasn't too bad. Though, if I remember correctly, we weren't at the same show? Maybe you were at the second night or both nights? I was at the first night. I won't see them if they play the island. It either has to be somewhere in the city itself (and even then, kinda depends where) or Starland in Jersey.
Does anyone play the Crazy Donkey? Seriously. Sam: I've seen a few shows at Nokia and though the sound is pretty okay, it's impossible to walk around and the sightlines aren't the best.
you're correct sam, it was late december my junior year of high school which would have been late '00. i was at the first show, not the second, because i had final exams. i may be confused on which show was terrible, i remember i had been guest listed and thats how i met oxygene and mike911, and mike said it was the worst show he'd ever seen. the sound was bad and the crowd didnt move cuz they couldnt hear the songs. 1565- yes, bands play the donkey. im seeing H20 there in August. Sick of it All, New Found Glory, Four Year Strong, and NOFX all have donkey dates. I dont mind it for a shitty show, but the Offspring are way above that place. theres no reason for them to play the island again, id be surprised if they even make it to the city in 08 or 09. hope im wrong of course.
I'd say that all of those bands are above that place.
