I might be doing an internship in NYC this spring. I'm a little stressed about how much the transportation might cost me to get from Jerz to NYC 2-3 days a week. =\

The bus isn't too much, is it? How far are you from the PATH? I'm still in shock at how the PATH is cheaper than the subway. What part of the city is your internship?

Roundtrip, I think the bus is around $12 or so (I havent taken it in a while). I'm half an hour from the nearest PATH station, but it's also not the safest (and I'm about an hour from the Hoboken one because of all the traffic and city driving, which is the only safe one). And the one my professor is talking about is at 25 East 21st.

You could do the bus to the C/E and then hike from 8th Ave to between 5th and Madison? But that's $16 round trip per day. Buh. I have an idea! Move to Brooklyn!

i know the PATH is cheap. that's generally my choice.

however, it takes foreverrrrr to get there (city driving sucks!), which kills my gas, making it expensive. oh, and the fact that everywhere the PATH is, except maybe Hoboken, is really dangerous. =\

I'm knocking around the idea of going to see this on 12/18 if anyone else wants to go.
