About that forum, I should mention that it's predominantly apologists for the Stalin-era soviet union. So short-hand you could say there are a lot of outspoken Stalinists. And while it is a political debate forum, a lot of it is also dedicated to historical debates about the former East block and other socialist nations. I'm not entirely sure how interesting you will find it. Though it's worth a shot I guess.
