Well, I play guitar and I want to get into melodic hardcore (Rise Against, Strike Anywhere). I just want a good job to make decent money while I do music and freelance writing

That sounds like me 10 years ago I hade done two years music (2 more to go) and then I switched to English (but I'm from Sweden, hence bad grammar and spelling). Studied English for one year, switched back to music and did my last two years. I don't regret it, but music doesn't give you a lot of money to live on - that's true.

What instruments do you play and what kind of music?

Then you know exactly how I'm feeling! Since I'm a teacher I don't exactly have homework (my students do ) but I have to write down some choir parts for a rehersal we have tomorrow. I've been putting it off the whole week but now I can't anymore
