Good grief...grad school? Over achiever.... I ended up getting marooned in North Dakota as I came out here in a Grapes of Wrath style of situation where I was looking for work teaching. I found teaching jobs, but none open for me as they (ND) wanted me to take 12 more credits of classes. I told them what they could do with those classes and then preceded to try and find work. I worked a temp Walmart job, worked a part time job at a photo studio, had my car break down, was in the hospital for kidney stones, and am working a welding job (hands on crap and I have a degree??!! the world is ending!) while attempting to make my way back home. Once I get home (Montana) I'll be opening my own photography business (wedding photojournalism, senior portraits, etc) and subbing for the local school district. Hey. Sounds like you're keeping pretty busy, so that's cool. And the real world...pffft! amirite? :P So what do you plan on doing with your degree? I'm finally going to be headed back to uni in January, and I'm intent on taking a few Political Science-related classes, though I'll be majoring in Computer Science. Looks like we saw parts of the same tour. I saw NoFX/Old Man Markley (even got made fun of by Fat Mike), but instead of Teenage Bottlerocket, we got Bouncing Souls and my new top three favorite band Cobra Skulls. Really badass show. The music career is going VEEERY slowly. My town is like a wasteland for musical talent, but at least I have a full band now. Speaking of NoFX, they're supposed to be coming here in November, and we'll try our damnest to open for them. Super excited for that. Thanks for checking out the music, btw! Glad you liked it.

Ahaa. Saw it yesterday, was thinking about letting you know . The video is gorgeous. The studio version of the song is quite different from what I saw in earlier live vids which I'm super cool with because both versions are equally enjoyable. You can't go wrong with... FTHC!!!
