It kinda reminds me of Tom Delonge's work with newer Blink and Angels and Airwaves... which is a bad thing (though it's not nearly AS bad). Hope the album is more like The Torture Doctor than I Wanna be a Warhol.
What about it seems like Angels and Airwaves to you? I get the intro sort of has that vibe (well, the syth in general) - but that's where it ends for me.
The chorus especially sounds like something Trio-ish.
someone told me it was derek grant doing backing vocals on that song but it kinda sounds like brendan kelly to me?
