Clemens, Pedro, Maddux, Glavine and Santana have a combined zero no-hitters and Clayton of Buchholz gets one in his 2nd game.
Baseball is fucking crazy.
If I remember, Glavine took one into the eigth or ninth a few different times in his days with the braves. I know Maddux came close at least a few times, as well.
Edit: the one I remember from Glavine was actually a perfect game through 7, then he walked a guy in the 8th, and then someone got a hit with 2 outs the same inning. This is a looong time ago, so I could be completely wrong.
I lol'd at this stat by the reds starter on sunday. 0 innings, 4 runs, 5 hits. I also lol'd at back to back to back homers to start the game. I didn't lol'd at the 9-0 loss today.
