i love how the offspring are so great!
Awesome news! I expected it though given the amount of airplay they get on KROQ. So many full concerts in video this year.
All their KROQ shows:
KROQ Weenie Roast: 1994, 1997, 2000, 2008
KROQ LA/Inland Invasion: 2001, 2002
KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas: 1998, 2003, 2008
Agreed. Both Hammerhead and You're Gonna Go Far, Kid have been getting a Lot of playing time!
When you put together that list like that, makes you realize just how often they play with KROQ, kind of cool (also makes me feel old). I remember in 97 Weenie Roast when they brought Vanilla Ice on stage with them (was it 97? Or was that 2000 Weenie Roast?)... I have a bad memory for these things. I have an mp3 lying around somewhere with a date on it... I'll be back...
Holy crap.
I am planning on going. I'm getting plane tickets this week I just need to be lucky enough to get the concert ticket hehe
:)
night 2 lineup

hmm...
the cure is almost enough to get me to want to go to that night...
but whatever... all my energy is being focused on night 1 at the moment.
i don't know im not to thrilled with the night 2 lineup this year
i wonder if offspring will play the 91x nightmare before xmas the next day in san diego ?? i don't think they will because they headlined x fest
just to let you know camilamazed the last few years ticketmaster made sure the credit card belonged to a california resident to prevent scalping
stupid i know:(
^ yeah the rest of that night is really soft...
kroq's banking on the cure being the big draw for that night...
(which is usually the case I guess)
Clearly, in my opinion, night 1 is stronger... by a long shot...
it could have no one else and the offspring would make it worth it hahaha
but I have always enjoyed cure concerts when i've gone
(though i'm not sold on the new album being even remotely good at the moment... need to listen to it a few more times)
