Ask Dexter Holland A Question

Well, this is a really good thread idea. Let's hope Dexter takes a little bit of his precious time and answers some of our questions!

Dexter, you once posted a journal in which you talked about a song "Pass Me By", most of us believed it'd be released on the new album (which happens to be Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace). Most of the fans are really excited about it and hope you guys release it some time. Do you guys plan to release it? May we have any hopes to listen to this song?

So, Dexter, in case you do not know, there's a campaign for The Offspring to play Lightning Rod. I know that it's not a popular song, and I also know that the band has played it twice. But have you ever considered playing this song again? Many fans are crazy to hear it live! It'd be just awesome for most of us if you played that song.

I just thought of a question :

Dexter, do you have any plans to do a 'Dexter on Song' at any time soon :)

what do you think about file sharing
is it hurting rafrag, has it hurt any other of your albums
i know you support file sharing but it would be really helpful if you gave me some facts or studies you have done

1.what about beeing a gueststar at the simpsons???-so much great bands became gueststars at a simpsons epidsode,why don't you?

2.Why do you only play festivals gigs in Europe??? Will there be any single german tourdates????

1) Did the band record anything with Atom Willard, even if you don't plan on releasing it?

2) You demoed well over 20 songs for Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, what do you plan on doing with the rest? Rewriting them for the next album, or simply scrapping them all together?

3) Given the current state of the music industry, what do small indie labels like Nitro have to do to survive?

4) Will songs like DUI or the rerecording of Dirty Magic ever have a proper release, like on a b-sides/rarities collection?

5) How difficult was the transition from Atom's departure, to Pete joining the band?

My question:

The RAFRAG Covers album by us (appropriately named The Forums) is nearing its release. Are you excited about this? If Randman21 and I brought you a copy when we drive out to Nashville for the festival, would you listen to it?
