Ah, I see what you did there.

This version just came out two days ago. The backing vocals are much more prevalent now. It's awesome.

:o Bah, I thought this song couldn´t get any better... but you just proved me wrong!
Love this part
"Now you see me, now you don’t
No vow to break
No string of hope
My hero, your pariah
They’re coming after me now"
The backing vocals and the wo hoo woo hoo :o
At first I thought it resembled Rise Against slightly, but I was listening to Savior again recently and I fail to see how they are similar. They are two very different rocking songs.
Also, the backing vocals on TFIN rock!
Fantastic!
The only similarity with Savior is rhytm during the verses, and even this is just slightly similar. Not to mention that TFIN feels totally different. So no, those ripoff accusations were unjustified in this case, this is classic Offspring, I love it :)
And backing vocals are amazing.
What makes me laugh about the Savior comparison is that Rise Against totally ripped off the "whoa oh oh oh"s from AFI (Black Sails, I think, though I can't remember the name of the song right now). The circle of (songwriting) life is a snake eating its tail. It's all good, people.
I *love* the "Offspring ripping off Rise Against" comparisons as well.
Rise fucking Against, really people? As if they weren't just The Offspring and Bad Religion in a blender to start with, anyway. Hilarious.
