Noticed there are remasters of "Smash" and "Ignition" on iTunes... was wondering if anyone has checked them out. Are they worth purchasing?

Noticed there are remasters of "Smash" and "Ignition" on iTunes... was wondering if anyone has checked them out. Are they worth purchasing?
I've got both of the physical copies. But I got them more for the slightly different artworks, which is pretty cool. As for quality, can't say I notice too much of a difference, and somehow my feeling tells me I prefer the originals.
Basically they're just louder (more compressed) versions of the originals, no quality improvement otherwise as near as I can tell.
what is the diference in the artwork?
I could hear a slight difference on the remastered version of Ignition, I didn't like it much. Other than that, the only real difference is that they are louder.
On Ignition the remastering worked out very nicely - if you hear it on headphones you'll notice the difference.
On Smash it's very badly fucked up...the mastering went wrong and it's over the red line all the way through...stick with the original.
Different booklet in Smash (with illustrations for every song), different CD design, inlay is not empty anymore.Quote:

The picture quality in the newer booklet is just shit. As if they just scanned the old one, and compressed it slightly before printing them.Quote:
