This guy tries too hard

I don't know why, but I'm curious to see if anyone here agrees.

Look at this guy Andy Borowitz's facebook page. I think he tries a little too hard to have a joke for pretty much every major current event. It makes him less funny to me. To his credit, he has some funny jokes though.
