Okay, I suppose I feel comfortable enough to share one of the first songs I ever wrote. I was 16, had the hardest time with school and personal and intense psychological issues, but Dexter's lyrical style and attitude just inspired me to throw down my feelings and inner thoughts onto paper. I was an amateur, but here's maybe the 4th song I wrote. I wish I could find "Make It by Yourself." I lost my lyrics book! I had almost 30 of my songs in it!
I may favor Greg K, but Dexter will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart for the inspiration he gave me to write songs, play guitar and even write some of my own music.
