All winter, the temperature has hovered around 0C, and the snow we've gotten has been incredibly dense/wet/slushy, and it melts within a week of it coming. It's actually dangerous because people have been killed here this winter from giant icicles forming on extremely tall buildings, and falling on unsuspecting victims as they walked down the sidewalk. Also, there have been small "avalanches" of insanely heavy snow in the city, which have also killed some people.
I miss blizzards of real snow, real cold, and real winter, I have to admit.
