Cruisin' California and Days Go By are the only 2 songs I skip when listening to the album.
Exact same opinion as this guy, but I'd throw New Dirty Magic above Days Go By
Just got the album on iTunes and Chinese eBay (taobao). Can't wait to compare the two different versions of the artwork.
You guys are all dividing by numbers greater than or less than zero.
Cut that out.
Y'all should be doing one of two things right now:
1. Bumpin' in your trunk
2. Doing the right thing and...
You guys are nuts, but I like it. Here's my unbeatable list.
Offspring:
1. Elders
2. Tehran
3. Demons
Ignition:
1. Kick him when he's down
2. Hypodermic
1. The Kids Aren't Alright
2. Slim Pickens
3. Kick Him When He's Down
4. Never Gonna Find Me
5. Conspiracy of One
6. Elders
7. Hammerhead
8. Come Out Swinging
9. Not the One
This album... is GODLIKE. Waaaaaaay better than RAFRAG!
Yeah, CC is kinda wack, but I love OC Guns!! It's funny!
They both sound Americana to me, which is a fantastic thing.
The transition kinda reminds me of the end part of Have You Ever.
That was.... amazing.
I mean, Dividing By Zero is REALLY GOOD. Just like old times.
Thank you, Offspring.
It would be pretty sick if the Offspring covered a Sum 41 song, like Still Waiting or The Hell Song. It'd be cool to hear Dexter's voice on that stuff.
I love the Offspring, and the album is probably gonna be great, but MAN, they chose the wrong songs for singles. Look at how much hate there was, and still is--
Good marketing would have them use...
Million Miles Away is by far my favorite Offspring song. Guitars, and the overlapping vocals at the end are awesome.
Agreed on both points. Less everything in the world, more bumpin' in my trunk.
This is pretty silly, but now I kind of want to hear them play Cruisin' California live.
It'd be funny enough to watch!
Word. If this album has, say, two really awesome songs, I'm in.
I hope they do that in the most hardcore, crazy way possible.
During the radio interview before they played Days Go Buy, Dexter said he had to add this song in later because the album was too serious.
Maybe Cruisin California's sole purpose is to balence out...
Looking at these track names after listening to Cruising California makes me wonder if they're really going for the nostalgia with this album.
It's like, they want to go back to the days of...
I dunno, it's not so bad, but after four years I was hoping for better.
I also agree it's not a joke song, a joke song is When You're In Prison. The song does almost seem like a bad attempt to get...
Pretty sweet. I'd buy that.
Bridge and guitar riffs give some good flavor to the song.
Lots of classic songs here, but I'll choose harder songs over upbeat ones any day. YGGFK.
Dexter, I know the 80s-90s punk has no place in today's world.
How should a punk carry himself in 2012?
The riffs at the start were interesting, I wonder what it really sounds like.
Second half of RAFRAG pissed me right the hell off, but man, Hammerhead, YGGFK, and Trust In You waaaaaaay made up for that.
People are so divided over Splinter, but it's got lots of energy, so I like it. Haters gonna hate.
