Not a fan, listened a lot of them a couple years ago. St Anger was cool and so is all their old stuff. Metallica is a cool band, but a bit commercial

St Anger was strong IMO. Ride the lightning has some good songs on it and so has Kill`em all and the rest of their 80`s records.

i like the sound but i don't respect it as much as their others since it just doesn't meet metallica standards

St.Anger is not a Metallica album (also like Load, Reload and all stuff recorded after 1991, the year of 'Metallica' -or 'Black Album'-)
The real Metallica are in the records you said, adding ''...And Justice For All'' and ''Kill 'em all''
