He's incredibly classy; he always drinks expensive martinis, where's designer suits, and drives expensive cars. He's also an indulgent libertine and a womanizer, practically the definition of a european capitalist - he's a composite of western enlightenment ideals and bourgeois individuality, which I don't have a problem with, but it's used in rediculous context. He's also self centered, amoral agent who indulges every whim, and kills first and asks questions later. The kind of guy you'd see at Queen Elizibeth's birthday party.

Bond villains are also represent the west demonizing interpretation of Communists. Many Bond villains are sociopathic, murderous supervillains that want to enslave the world - and alot of them are commies. James Bond is as much of a propaghanda machine as the smurfs, which is a positive metaphor for socialism.

Fuck James Bond. I mean, the movies are incredibly entertaining, and he's a really great character, but some of his movies are just rediculous. There's this one where he works for the Taliban against the Russians, and it makes the Taliban totally look like the "good guys," cause James is always on the right side of the cold war. One thing I do respect though is that he's made out to be a problem agent who's constantly pissing off his bosses - his films do show problems he has with bureaucracy, but aside from that, he's England's answer to Captain America vs. the Red Skull.

Post-Cold War, however, he's fought against evil corporations/billionaires multiple times (Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day). In that sense he's almost a commie himself. Hell, he even sided with red China.

The TV show JAG has a lot of propaganda in it but its also pretty balanced IF YOU LOOK FOR IT. We need more of these types of shows on the box.
