I actually remembered you saying that, so I asked my doctor when he told me he thought it'd be a good option. He says he generally hasn't seen anyone really experience any pain from it, but if I did end up going through something like you did, it probably wouldn't be a big deal to me after everything else I've dealt with.

I don't think it hurt when thye put it in first, I think it only gave me some mild cramps. But the taking out hurt, and then all the issues with putting the new one in. I had a biopsy of my intestines the day before though, so I think that made it all a bit sensitive too, all the poking around with camera can't have been nice for the insides of my belly!

I'm pretty highly disappointed in people and also kind of appalled.

The only part of this that surprised me is that you allow yourself to have such stupid friends.

2 of the 3 are not stupid about anything else, oddly enough. They're otherwise very intelligent girls. Which is why I was even more disgusted/surprised that they were so dumb when it came to all of this.
