Has Nirvana's Nevermind ever been digitally remastered?

Not that I know of. The people that make money off of Nirvana get enough money from "NEVAR 4GET" Kurt t-shirts, so spending money on remastering an album might be a financial loss.
Not that it matters though. "Nevermind" is incredibly clean and big in it's production. Don't see how they could make it sound any cleaner.
But I have read stuff about the possibility of a box set with all of the studio albums, and that could be remastered.

I've been experimenting with the album, this is just an attempt, you may want to give it a listen:
Smells Like Teen Spirit Comparison (the original recording first, then remastered)
