I miss old school Green Day. I heard their new song last night and it was just boring. I kept thinking is this really Green Day. It was just sad.

"Oh Love" is excruciatingly boring, but "Let Yourself Go" is pretty fun. I'm sure the next three records will all be mixed bags, much like "American Idiot" and "21st Century Breakdown" were. I can't really see Green Day creating a completely solid record again, especially if they're releasing three separate ones this time around. That's a little...ambitious. There's bound to be some stinkers..

Best album is "Insomniac", which has probably been said a trillion times before, but eh.

Yeah, I think Kill The DJ is pretty cool too. Of course "Oh Love", the least interesting of the bunch, is the first single that they're promoting the butt out of.

it's ok i would rather hear it played on the radio then oh love everytime that song comes on the radio i just change the channel

Kill the DJ definitely isn't bad, but I don't care for Billie Joe's voice in the song... he sounds especially whiny for some reason. Much better song than Oh Love, though.

I really, really, really dislike this song. While Oh Love was innocuously boring, this one is just excruciating. I'm hearing more of a Maroon 5 knockoff than a Clash throwback. Repetitive and imitative as fuck.
