Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

I just got a psp for the first time and I'm playing through this one in preparation for the upcoming MGS: Peace Walker.

So far it's not too bad. Doesn't live up to the other games in the series, but for a handheld game, it's pretty impressive.

So far I give it 8/10.

How far along are you in it? It definitely starts as a slow game, but it thought it was absolutely awesome by the time I finished it.

I'm at the point where your men rescue Snake. It's definitely getting better as the game progresses.

God of War 3 = Best graphics ever. Best combat ever. Best gameplay ever. Best story ever. Best animation ever. Best everything ever. Best game ever.

Non-PC gamer is not a PC gamer. Honestly, I thought God Of War 3 had great graphics, but nothing mind-blowing. However, no console game is really able to impress me anymore for graphics. Also, I found the gameplay to be completely un-innovative and spam the square-square-triangle combo as much as you can to win, just like 1 & 2, and I'm sorry, but the story for God Of War has always sucked. Sure, killing gods is epic, but God Of War 3 is far from "Best Game Ever," in my opinion.

Me? I've been re-playing Mass Effect to get another character for Mass Effect 2. Both are very excellent games. Also been playing some Metro 2033 (great atmosphere) and some LittleBigPlanet (just love the level editor)

Made it to the lost continent in Final Fantasy 9. Think I might actually beat the game this time.

Okay, I just beat MGS Portable Ops.

I thought it was pretty good, but the ending was way too abrupt. When the credits came on I was like, "Whoa. I'm done?" It was kind of a disappointment after how all the other games had absolutely spectacular endings. The game also seemed really short to me. I can see what they were trying to do with it, but I think they just missed it a bit. Either way, if you own a psp or are a fan of the MGS series, I'd definitely recommend playing it, even though you probably won't get the same experience as you did from the other 4 games.

I bought a PS3 on Friday and have been playing Brutal Legend a lot since then. It's pretty awesome.

I started playing Dragon Age Origins again. Goddamn, such an awesome game. I think I'm liking it more than Mass Effect. Well, the story and dialogue at least. I really hate micromanaging an entire team and I'm too lazy to figure out how the tactics stuff works. But otherwise, it's awesome. Even though I've been playing for hours and hours, I've only gotten to the town right after you bring Morrigan to the team. I've been meticulously quick-saving and reloading the game so I could hear all the dialogue options. I find this aspect of the game more interesting than the combat itself.

Also, I got Left 4 Dead 2 last Friday. I kind of regret it to be honest. I played for an hour or so and realized I was getting bored for the same reasons I got bored of LFD1. It was fun the first time, but the novelty of killing a hordes of zombies wore off rather quickly for me. The new levels didn't change the monotony of it all. I still need to the check out the versus mode though. From what I've read, it's supposed to be a huge improvement over the first one.
