Downloaded the album, listening right now. I'll give a more detailed opinion when i get a good listen to the album (although that might take a while, i rarely have any free time these days).
But i must compliment one thing right away: Kudos to you for fighting against the loudness war! It's nice thing to see waveforms that actually look like waveforms, i did the same thing with The Redestructed demo - rather make songs a bit quieter and less compressed, but with much better sound. Did you do it yourself? If so, with which program? I'd recommend adobe audition 3. You can do wonders with that program. Our songs sounded somehow dull before mastering, but i applied a bit of compression and then expand effect, which made the sound better than it was before.
Hah, thanks. My first albums were pretty loud, but after some time I decided to improve the sound quality and add a little more dynamics to the songs.
And yeah, I did the mixing/mastering for the songs.
I use Cubase LE 4 for these purposes.
Wow, that's great.
I was a bit skeptical about the album at first since it is different from what I did on the first albums and I am really glad that you like it![]()
Wow! How come I haven't commented on this thread yet?
Anyway, this band is awesome! I really enjoy your songs, ad8! At least the ones I've listened to so far, and I'll try to listen to more of your stuff soon. Anyway, congrats and keep up with the good work.
Thanks! I'm always glad to get feedback like this
Also, to keep this thread at least a bit updated:
Here's a fun video that we made some weeks ago. It contains about 2/3 of our song "The Night" and 3/4 of our band

Last weekend I uploaded a new video which I forgot to post here.
I thought I could do that now. It is a cover of "Do What You Want" by Bad Religion. I hope you are able to enjoy it even though it's not exactly punk rock

I just wanted to drop by and say that I fucking love Bed Religion. I know it's an older one, but I somehow missed out on it until recently....so yeah
Downloading the new one now, will comment later.
