Thanks! I really wanted to write a little more complex solo in that song since I thought my previous songs lacked them. I'm happy to hear that I actually made it.

Planning to check the album when it's released. I'll wait until then, i don't want to ruin the experience.
The one coming on the first of August is the eigth album. Hmm... what I would love to do would be playing as many concerts and rehearsals as The Redestructed do, but concerning that you are far more productive with your band You keep up the good work, too! I'll gladly wait a little longer if the upcoming Redestructed songs are as awesome as the first EP!

Eh, we're not that productive to be honest, we haven't had a proper rehearsal (nor a gig) as a full band in quite a while. Though we did find replacing members (we're gonna be a 5 piece band from now on). And we don't have nearly as much songs as you do, though we do have some new material, which is in my opinion better than those 3 songs we released. Or at least more interesting.

I'm gonna download your album the day it comes out. Another release to be excited about this August (the second and much anticipated is the new Iron Maiden album, i'm looking forward to that one too ).

Alright, it is time for the new album and here it is:

    Ricetigers - Liberty (2010)

I really hope you enjoy this. I am glad with the way the songs turned out, even though there are -as always- some minor flaws that bug me. But I don't want to spoil anything here, so just have a listen and create your own opinion! Feedback is appreciated as always.
    Enjoy! (or not)

Wow. This is actually pretty damn freaking great! And i agree with Randy, the first song is amazing, you've hit a home run with that one. I gotta yet listen to it through, but so far what i hear is all really, really good. Is it a concept album?

And with that song you've also encouraged me to keep working on an epic song i have in my mind for my band. I was kind of worried it might sound too different from the rest, but what the hell, i'll give it a try and make it fit (i've only started). Process of Change part 1 really sounds epic, but at the same time it fits really well with the rest of the album. Great guitar work also.

Thank you It's great to know that your music works as an inspiration for other people that might on the other hand inspire you.
I don't really know if it is a concept album... the 3 Process of change-songs make it seem like that, but at first I only had Part 1 and then decided to do 2 other parts. I really tried to make Part 1 an adequate opener and I am happy that I achieved to do so.
Also, the entire album may seem like a concept album but I think I wouldn't be capable of creating an album from scratch.
The usual way is: I write songs for an album and at a certain point (when I know which kind of lyrics/topics are going to be emphasised on the album) I start looking for a title that describes the entity best.
So there is a certain concept, but I am too lazy to actually plan anything precisely

Perhaps you unconsciously wrote a concept album (or at least one with a loose concept) . Or perhaps it's just that the overall theme and feel of the album makes it seem so. I really like the album, it sounds diverse enough to keep the listener interested, but at the same time it doesn't seem like it was written by a man with no direction. You seem to have known what you were aiming at with the album.

Anyway, yeah, Process of Change part 1 sounds like something i'd want to write. I don't want to make an album full of epic songs, but i'd like to write at least one really epic song. So far i have the intro done, it was actually done a few months ago, when i thought the song would be instrumental only. But it has become more challenging, since i now want to write a full blown epic punk song that would still fit along Self-Destruction, Struggle and the rest of our songs, including new ones. This is gonna take a lot of work to accomplish. You've done it with this song, it's epic, the intro is perfect, and it fits indredibly well among the rest. So this is the way to go, good work

Thanks! I'm sure you will accomplish your goal of an epic punk song since I know that you are able to do so (Examples: Self-Destruction, Semper Fi and probably Last Defeat )

    Okay, time for another update.
After the eigth album I have written some new songs but also re-recorded some old ones. I planned a re-release of the Toy Of The System album this year in an acceptable quality and worked on this. Also, I have re-recorded some other songs and created a Best Of album that I am going to release on 08/23/2010. I have decided to re-record some songs and leave some songs in its original form. Anyway, the track listing contains 23 songs; 22 originals and one cover (The Answer - Static Martyr cover).

Here is -as promised- the "Best Of" album:
(Click on the album cover to download)

I hope you can enjoy this compilation and the re-recordings!

ps: I hope megaupload works this time because I previously tried uploading to rapidshare which didn't work.
