    What the fuck is wrong with nomination of The Offspring in best punk category? The argument is that their competitors are young, not so good known bands.

    But I have to say that I agree with most of everything else there.
    Before you speak think about what you're trying to say.

    Cool to see they're nominated - hope they win something too!
    "Best Album - “Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace” - The Offspring" and "Best Song “Hammerhead” - The Offspring".

    But yeah, I missed them in the "Best Punk" categorie.
    The Vandals is there, and as said in the article; they haven't realesed any album since 2004?


    Talking about awards... The Offspring won three, right?

    About the nominees thing, the outrage is a complete overreaction. It's not going to be a popularity contest because you have academy-type voting.

    Best song went to the Jakes - Cough Syrup and best album went to "The Truth About Venus Infers” by Venus Infers.

    The Offspring wasn't even nominated for a best punk act, nor was Pennywise. TSOL won the category, though, which is cool.

    The Vandals got a Orange County Impact Award

    Atreyu won best metal act, beating Bleeding Through and A7X.
