Why does every trivial function of the board concern you? Wether they do or don't have administrative abilities, what does it matter?

I felt the same way... after I read the original post, I was like, wow, pretty clever title... then I realized who made it and thought, hmm maybe not clever, but accidentally awesome. :P

It's to my knowledge that the band members do have administrative privileges, meaning that, yes, they can ban people. But I don't think they're here enough to have a need to ban people, so they never have.

Also I don't think they can be banned, just like the other admins.
