I hope France does alright. There's been way too much crap about how they got in, and then this newest ridiculous scandal, but all the same, I just want to watch some good football and cheer on my side for a bit. I don't mind them getting eliminated, but it's nice to cheer for your side for a bit now and then.

Of course, I hope France is doing good, I never know what to expect with that team, but what I can't wait for are evenings in bars, watching the games with cool people.

I also hope that South Africa is doing good (eventhough the first game of France is against SA) because it's always cool that your team is doing good when your country is hosting the world cup. Also I read that they had football friday where people have to wear their favorite team colors and I love it.

I've got a feeling that The Netherlands will do really well and play attractive football. Of course the first stage is "easy" with Denmark, Cameroon and Japan as opponents.
But man, we've got some offensive quality walking around, no wonder they didn't decide to bring van Nistelrooy (though he will be missed). I think we've got far more than enough quality walking around.
And hooray for van Bommel being back! The more Bayern the better.


Gonna be a great time in South Amerfrica.
