I"m excited for the new album, but i've managed to wait this long, another couple months isn't exactly going to kill me. There's lots of great records coming out in the meantime that can help fill the void.
That "superhero" song description has me sort of intrigued.

The Album has got to be mixed and masterd, two long processes. they said they're starting working on the artwork too, I think it needs time. then all the distribution and promotion mechanisms will start to work. after that we'll have the album. it's not about wasting time

Waiting 3 extra months is a small price to pay to get an album that will be listened to for years.
They only get one chance to make these songs right, if they need to take their time. So be it.

Just so you know -- when I worked at a major label, we took just about 3 months to "set up" a record (marketing, press, etc) after it was finished and delivered to us.
The doctor is in.
^That, and Dexter didn't say "Recording ALL of the vocals this week."

I agree! The point is that I have heard about the new album since 2010 and we are in 2012!! It has already been delayed!
