Is the guy running out of rhymes in lyrics?holmes or homes? - Dexter
We ought to write an Offspring song for them.
Sorry if I don't understand your post, but I think he's asking the correct spelling, which is something I've struggled with for a long time. I say "homes"
Oh, and he seems to be referring to the slang word, not actual houses.
Hmm, the superhero-movie quote is kinda interesting.
There are three pretty big-deal ones coming out this Summer. It's pretty-much in not-gonna-happen territory for Batman, as they've both been all-score so far. The other two, though, interesting to see if we might get an Offspring track in one.
Obviously a total shot in the dark. But the Spidey reboot's at Columbia, release of the movie will most likely roughly coincide with the new disc. So far the new interpretation seems to be more of a "rock & roll" Spiderman, Parker wearing Ramones shirts and the Stone's "Street Fightin' Man" playing in a few clips and such.
Possibility, I guess. Not sure how early they figure all of that shit out.
Avengers, no reason to think they'd feature a track, but I guess nothing's impossible. Foo Fighters were in Thor, and the IM flicks obviously use a lot of "songs" supplementing the actual score.
Yay for dumb fun speculation.
Yeah, not a big deal, but their slow single off the new album, forget the name, was playing in the bar scene, and was the credits song. I guess The Offspring in Avengers in a similar capacity wouldn't be too out of the question.
Probably more likely for Spidey, but whatever. Random thought.
Who cares. That movie sucked. At least it did in my opinion, I'm sure it was actually a great movie (now I won't receive a wave of negativity)
Crap, I think this is my hundredth and first post. Not a very round number.
On yeah, on topic. The tweet doesn't necessarily state that the track will be featured in a super hero movie, but it vaguely implies it.
