Recently a few of my buddies introduced me to Jay Reatard. I honestly love everything this guy puts out. He changed his sound from punk to a little more pop on his last album, which was still deadly. Unfortunately, he died back in 2010.

Then I was told about Wye Oak, a 2-piece band from Baltimore. Very ambient, mellow and kinda entrancing. Her voice is absolutely perfect.

Besides these 2 new additions, I've been into Our Lady Peace, Cage The Elephant, Attack In Black, and Silverchair just to name a few. I kinda cross genres a little bit, haha.
