Godzilla, King of the Monsters (1956)


I haven't seen this one in years, and I found it on dvd the other day so I decided to grab it. I forgot how good this movie was. Some of the acting from a couple Japanese actors was pretty bad, but the role of Steve Martin was pretty well done, and the political overtones and special effects in particular were very well done for their time.

Awesome! It's easy to forget how good that one is if you haven't watched in a while. Being a fan of all things Godzilla, (hence my username), I'm thrilled to see that I'm not the only person that watches these films!

Storyline was ok but a little confusing at times. Didn't like Bruce Willis' performance that much in this one.

The Recruit 8/10
Colin Farrell and Al Pacino both great. I liked the game of cat-and-mouse a lot. Yup that was definitely worth watching.

Land of the Dead 7/10

Good, solid movie. Has it weak points, but overall I think it's a decent addition to the "of the Dead" saga of George A. Romero.

Just finished watching Terminator 3. It can't compare to the 2nd one but it was still pretty great for a mindless action movie. Held my attention the entire time.

Terminator mythology is my favorite. Great plot.

I saw Kill Bill 1 & 2(my previous post about it doesn't exist after the upgrade). Magnificent movies. Tarantino is one of the best active directors.

What a crappy movie. A failed attempt of a prequel for the ALIEN movies.
