I'm digging the new guitar sounds with the long, ringing notes during the intro and verse. Not sure whether that'll be reflective of the album, or if it's a gimmick to sound "futuristic," given the title of the song. Other than that, it sounded like typical Offspring fare. It definitely didn't sound bad, but I'm not as excited as I was when I heard the early demos of "Hammerhead" and "Half-Truism."

I guess I can hear similarities to Rise Against, but I wouldn't have noticed them on my own. At least it doesn't sound note-for-note like a specific song of theirs. Kind of like Nothingtown doesn't sound like any specific Green Day song, yet sounds like something that they might do.

It does sound somewhat similar, then again, I don't really listen to Rise Against, and if I heard "Savior" before "Future is Now" I'd have said that they sound kinda like The Offspring. 'cept for the vocals, their singer isn't bad but ain't got a unique voice like Dex.

The breakdown (in Savior) is totally like the intro for Hammerhead IMO.

Yes. I think it's "glass will grow" "Why?", you may ask. Well, Dexter said "glass" and it almost makes sense because in a city made of diamonds, maybe glass would grow.

I think it would be cool if the title was "how I disappear" too

Edit: another thing I've noticed is that Dexter sounds sooooo good on this one. I think he's not trying too hard with a damn good result. the more I listen the more I'm into the song

You're totally right, teachers aren't allowed to have really shitty laptop speakers I normally hook up my external speakers when I really want to listen to stuff, but I wasn't about to do that to listen to a one-minute live clip. :P I will most *definitely* bust out the speakers when the album drops, though!
