If people think this is catchy I realize what damage popular music has already done to people. No substance, no originality, no creativity, no energy, dumbed down (sarcastic, yeah I know) lyrics. Makes me want to move into the woods, really.

Lacking originality doesn't preclude a song from being "catchy".

I don't exactly like the song, but it's hard to deny that its hook stays with you after listening.
