Wow, people have such strong opinions about this... it's hardly different from the old skull. The "flames" are longer, and instead of a circle around it, there are kinda bolts. That's it. It's the same skull, haha.

Less flames too. I think it looks pretty different - different enough to notice and different enough to have an opinion on it. It's not bad, but I like the old one better.

I always felt that the skull was good for CO1, and should've stayed CO1's cover, rather than becoming the band's logo. I guess I'd say I'm glad they updated it a bit just because having the same logo sticking around for 12 years was getting lame... but it's just such a generic, boring logo to have.

I didn't like it at first, because I saw elliptical one mostly. (maybe it's an illusion, but it looks more elliptical when they play live) When it's circular it looks great. Flames remind me of cooker flames, really cool, but when it is elliptical--flames just look too long. Then, you gotta get used to cheeks. I love it now.

Maybe, they will hide it somewhere in the new album artwork.

And I don't know what's the problem with having it as a logo, but I guess it was a high time to update it...

CO1's skull is a cartoon style-logo. It's childish.This one is more serious and more ...rock. I was waiting for this change,although I'd rather not be any of them.
