That's so cool that you got to meet them. I hope to, too, some day. I think because of the one hour show delay caused by the thunderstorm in Philadelphia, they had to leave right away. I hope they come back! I'll bring my sign again and ask Greg to sign it! It's not perfect, but at least people could tell it was Greg without being told when they saw only the drawing when Noodles tweeted it. XP

The first time I saw them live, I was (and still am) completely obsessed with them for over a decade. I never got to see them until over ten years after I fell in love. Sounds so cheesy! But when I found out they were coming to my area, I lost my shit dude! I cried like, three times. I cracked open a bottle. I yelled and danced in my room pretty much all night, haha. The show was absolutely phenominal! It was at the Starland Ballroom in NJ back in 2009. I never went so insane in my life. I jumped, moshed, screamed lyrics and smiled till everything in my body hurt, and it was awesome. It was one of the best moments of my entire life. Just seeing your all-time favorite band for the first time is so liberating. It just brought back all of those memories of growing up to their music, having those songs touch my heart and being totally in love with that band. I know it sounds so lame, but it's true. When I got into the car to go home, I broke down into tears and couldn't believe I saw them in person. Ugh I sound like such a douche! Haha. Then, I got to see them again a few months ago at the House of Blues in AC, and it was just as awesome. My legs felt like they were going to fall the fuck off me for about a week haha! I moshed hard for the first time in my life, really. I've moshed before, but I would usually peace out of the crowd within less than a minute. But as soon as I heard "Have You Ever?", I just moshed my white little ass off the entire song. It was also the first time I got RIGHT up against the stage and got as close as I ever did to them. I swear time stopped when I got shoved up to that barricade, and I looked up and they were all there. I was like :-O!!! Unfortunatly I never got to meet them. But hopefully one day I will, and won't completely lose my cool!

No, you don't sound like a douche! I'm so glad to hear that people are JUST as passionate about them as I am. I usually think I'm the weird one for loving them so much. But you have to when a band's music has done so much for you in your life. I was that excited, too, to see them and a bit nervous. We totally have to go see them together and push up to the front next time they come to Philly!

Dude I would brag about that shit forever haha! It's really good to see fans that feel the same way I do. Whenever I just talk to your everyday person about favorite bands, I feel like I get the same response every time like "Why them?" or something. That's why I love coming here!
