My point was...if looking for a good job, you wouldn't begin to even get to a second interview in private industry in most cases by spouting off Obama praising. I worked for a private franchised company, where nearly every single person who worked there (including the owner of my franchise) was openly liberal. Only our secretary and the marketer were not. And this isn't some small company - try an international company that exists in about a dozen countries. The brothers who founded the company are liberal, too, and so are the current owners. So go ahead and try to convince people of this you-can't-get-hired-in-the-private-sector-if-you're-openly-liberal bullshit. It's simply not true. Oh, and I made between $30 and $40 per hour working for that company, plus they reimburse ALL employees' gas fully.

Edit: Target and Best Buy are both huge companies that are known for being super liberal, as well.

The VAST majority would simply laugh at an Obama sympathizer. Small/med businesses, and I do lots of quarterly work for this size, to the man, are not fans of the prez' politics in any way. Of course if you are a teacher, union dirtbag, or lifelong loser on the welfare bandwagon, you may have good company more likely than not.

I think the devide in America is due much more to tea party types, racist, bigots, and ultra conservative leaders. If Mitt Romney won the election do you think thousands of liberals would be calling for his assassination, tens of thousands demanding succession, and millions claiming that America is dead? Liberals, while not always right, are not the ones who fabricated lies in an attempt to discredit the president, liberals aren't the ones who used every 'bad word' in the book to slander Obama, you know, except nigger, which is what a lot of them really mean when they say 'socialist, communist, kenyan, muslim, terrorist'. This is what created the devide, hate filled bigots who don't want their narrow little world view shattered and invaded by faggots, spics, niggers, and godless heathens.

Lol, well I am a "teacher". I teach English as a foreign language, and I've never taught at a school. I've never once been a public employee. I used to teach as an independent contractor, and currently teach through private language agencies, as well as privately for myself. All but one of the private agencies (two of which have been very large agencies with several branches), as well as that huge international company through which I was an independent contractor, have all been very liberal. The director of one of the agencies I currently work for is a huge Fox News-loving, Republican blowhard, and there's a reason his company is dying (he's been delaying our paychecks because he can't afford to pay us, and digging for reasons to deduct money from our pay) while the liberal agency I teach for is actually prospering - just bought a brand new office in a much better location, and gave all their employees a small raise at the start of the year without even mentioning it.

I work in a restaurant. One of my co-workers who runs his own company was afraid of Romney winning as well.
