You can hear it in I Choose. He had trouble hitting the high notes. He was also sick during the Much Music in Canada event and The KROQ Weenie Roast of 2012. He sang better at other shows, but he was still amazing during the shows when he was sick.

I don't think it's sexist. I think it's cool he's sticking up for the females, I mean, he's speaking for them. Guys can be pigs. (This is coming from a guy, although I'm not one of the perverts) He's basically saying, give those guys a taste of their own medicine and see how they like it. I salute him.
