Christmas week has reminded me about why I would like to move far, far, far away from the bulk of my relatives, thus, reducing my holiday interaction with them to a christmas card or two in the mail.

Good question. I'm not sure, but I would guess it is worse to loathe them. I try to love my fellow men (and women), and I try to see the best in them. But seriously, some people just suck. Really, I'd like to like everyone, but when they are as messed up as my extended family, it becomes a mission impossible, minus the freaky explosions.

I'm sorry to hear that. I just have a blatant disinterest. It may be because of the Asperger's syndrome and my hate of being in noisy crowds (it's a miracle I don't panic at concerts) but I just don't have much of an interest in how my extended family is doing, even though they are right there of facebook.
