Nothing wrong with a little necrophilia. Did it ever hurt you to see a long-dead thread return? What if it was an influential thread, like the one about a guy getting fucked to death by a horse?

I find 'like' buttons annoying and not necessary. Usually the most 'liked' threads or posts get the biggest amount of replies, and I think it's enough if it comes to show someone's appreciation.

I know I resurrected a dead Greg K thread, but it died again just as quickly, haha.
I'm starting to come around. You are have brought up some good points about having a like button, as long as people don't misuse it. I still think it should be a rock/rock on button.

The necromancy isn't an issue if the thread is bumped for a good reason, like new info or someone who missed it has something interesting to add to the conversation, however old it may be. most of the time, that is not the case though.

Edit: there is always a good reason to bump the "fucked by a horse" thread.

Good point. I have seen some thread come back and no one had an issue with it. I guess that's why I didn't catch flack for reviving the Greg K thread months ago. Though, It died again and I'm not bringing back a zombie, heh heh.

One was on that website, I don't remember where the other was. It may have been a video or a TV program. It was, like, 7-8 years ago. I know it was shortly after I moved out of Philly, which was 10 years ago, so I don't really remember exactly.
