Because the singles were the Days Go By this failure ?

I do not understand why singles have had so little reception. Only Days Go By was well on the charts, Crusing California was bad and Turning Into You touched on some radios. I wonder what is happening with the Offspring?

And remember that the album Days Go By was only 6 weeks on the Billboard 200.

I think the expectation by the masses of pop and those other popular genres contributes to how poorly the singles did. Also, the Offspring have been out of the lime light since Americana. They've had a few major hits since then, but it seems the only rock bands that were big in the 90's that have managed to completely transition to the younger generation are the Foo Fighters (since the 90's?) and Green Day. I have not heard their recent albums, but maybe they have changed their style and their publicists or whatever they are called are marketing them to the younger generation and spewing out adds on the social media sites. I don't really know. I'm not feeling so well today and I don't stay on top of music news, so I could be wrong about all this. What do other people think?

I still think Dividing By Zero and/or Slim Pickens should have been made a single and I know plenty of other people agree with me.

Ted Stryker from KROQ played Dividing By Zero the day the album came out and it sounded amazing on the radio even without Slim Pickens I think it sounded better than Turning Into You which 987 fm played the day before Sunset Strip Music Festival

I don´t like be a sarcastic or something like that. For me, The Offspring is splitter up at the end of 2014. Maybe not. I see in the future. They will likes to stay with families and bussiness.
