Yes, Kreisel is a German surname. Is it pronounced properly, like "cry-sill", or has it been Americanized to "cree-sill"? I've never known how Greg's surname is actually pronounced, because I've only ever heard him referred to as Greg K.

It is actually spelled "Kriesel," and the "ie" sound in German is pronounced like "ee." I always assumed it was pronounced "cree-sill" myself, but Melyssa's post makes me doubt my assumption.
