When I lived in Atlanta I kind of missed the snow. But that just made it even more special to get 2 inches every three years or so. They used to close schools in the ATL for only a couple inches. Funny. But I would certainly prefer the south to here; the people trump the weather to me.

You would... I sure do. I grew up in an area that gets 1.5 to 2 meters of snow every winter, often in huge blizzards, and the temperatures are often -20C to -40C. I now live in a place where the weather is slightly Mediterranean. All winter, the temperature has hovered around 0C, and the snow we've gotten has been incredibly dense/wet/slushy, and it melts within a week of it coming. It's actually dangerous because people have been killed here this winter from giant icicles forming on extremely tall buildings, and falling on unsuspecting victims as they walked down the sidewalk. Also, there have been small "avalanches" of insanely heavy snow in the city, which have also killed some people.

I miss blizzards of real snow, real cold, and real winter, I have to admit.

I am actually relieved that I see an American use SI units and the worldwide accepted unit for temperature. Most Americunts do whatever the fuck they want even though it goes against efficiency and rationality because "FUCK YEAH 'MURICA"

Where are you from?

I used metric because I was addressing KickHim, who is not American. I am familiar with both systems, and use them interchangeably depending on with whom I'm talking. I don't think Americans use the imperial system because they're cunts or arrogant, though. It's just because that's what we're taught in school - most Americans don't learn the metric system in school, so they don't know how to use it. I learned the basics in college because I studied biology for a while, but I didn't get the hang of it until I moved to Europe. I still make mistakes, though, and struggle a bit. I sometimes have to use a converter.
