    Impressive after all this time to jump back into research and get a first authorship publication, so, congrats!

    Also... to make it fit in the forum. How the HELL did you find time to publish research AND write a new album/tour?! Crazy impressive!

    I dunno about him but first time I ended up on scholar.google I was thoroughly amused

    Wow, very cool. Even cooler that what he's working on in particular relates to finding a cure for HIV. The paper is about how the HIV (I've always found it stupid to say "HIV virus" - the V already stands for virus!) has evolved to take care of itself in the human body and avoid being shut down by the human's immune system. It's done this by basically mimicking genetic sequences from the human, which then make the HIV look "safe" to many immune-system functions. Very important subject he's working on!!

    This gives me a ton of respect for Dexter - not many people become published scientists *and* platinum musicians
