I can't believe this place has been up for such a little time and it's already going out of topic. So I'll try to keep this in topic.

In my personal opinion Green Day doesn't suck as far as their political opinions go. In fact, I think their last album had some really well put political statements and the songs rocked. I'll have to buy it sometime soon.

Warning is another story, though, but it did have a few nice songs.

the newest album is just a brilliant way of reinventing themselves as such, and the politics are touched in a more subtle way (apart from the single of course) - now if only the offspring would actually come up with a fresh sounding album, would be nice

and The new green day album was horrible. they only good song was Jesus of Suburbia.

I don't agree with you, Green Day had changed, it's true, but every band have to change ! But it's true the Basket Case period was one of the est of Green Day's period.

Like the Offspring they just have evoluaded, changement make move things !
