How do you know there is even going to be one. Would they bother releasing a cover?
Perhaps this Greatest Hits album will get them on the radar in time for their next album.

I think Greatest Hits will have one single to promote the album, a new song of course. Hopefully a big hit, that could boost it into a huge sales.

But yeah, Splinter did very weak, not even Head Around You got too much air time. Americana's singles were excellent by marketing aspect, it just came hotter when The Kids Aren't Alright was released.

They'll never get the huge success back anymore though, Offspring's style of music isn't that hot as it used to be in the 90s... now a cliche sentence, who even cares...
